CAI for 09/10 hemi
Any time you improve the airflow into a motor, you will make more power, not less. Motor will also respond quicker to throttle requests.
Auto manufacturers are also considering sound, economics and reliability just as much as power.
Most CAI's are noisier, which would not sit well with the the 'wine and cheese' crowd. Additionally, a CAI requires more maintenance and increasingly expensive filters.
Most auto manufacturers will sacrifice 10-20hp to make their intakes silent and cost efficient.

Exactly. Saving a few bucks here and there per truck will save the company millions. Along with trying to make the average buyer happy. I'll try to get my dyno sheet scanned to show the difference it made, which is pretty different than the standard ram cause of the TC. I made the most gains in the middle along with even more throttle response where the other rams made more power higher up.
yeah ive seen it -- i wonder if its true -- if it is with a bit of $$ all the bolts ons will add like 100hp to that ol hemi -- CAI +20hp Headers +40 muffler +12 Diablo tune +30 - geeeez lol
Would love to see your dynos! I am still on the fence as to which CAI I am getting. got pics of it installed?
