adjusting volume while the voice is saying "phone call completed" turns down phone volume, not uconnect announcer...seems like they're tied in together though.

I'd like to have a choice of the voice telling me the phone call has ended or just a tone and a visual notification on the nav display.

i hope i'm not offending you by telling you stupid crap then, but make sure you have the lastest firmware updates to phone and uconnect/bluetooth. i don't have the same issue as you but their can be a hundred different variables.
3Gs phone
Latest Firmware
REN
2.292 Firmware
factory installed bluetooth
which radio do you have (REN,RER etc)?

Nope, no offense taken, I spend enough time online to expect it sooner or later. =P

3Gs 32gb iPhone (2nd one, but it did the same thing with the first one)
latest iphone firmware (3.1.3)
RER (touchscreen w/ Nav and 30gb hard drive)
not sure on the truck's firmware, but it's only 4 months old....and how would I update it? Take it to the dealership? I have an appointment for Tuesday morning for its first service/oil change.
Factory installed bluetooth - check.

One thing I'll have to see if it works later when I drive - I DO have my "app" volume turned way down, don't like the music from games...but that shouldn't affect calls whether over bluetooth or headset, cause when I'm on the phone itself my call volume is always up and the app volume is seperate. Don't think the bluetooth would change my call volume to app volume, but I'm not sure...I'll have to play around with that later.

the latest firmware for the RER is 2.043, you can check by going to MENU then info. it should tell you the gracenote and firmware editions your myGig is using.
NO, do not take to dealership unless you really trust them. most don't know $heet about the mygigs.
go to this website to download releases and make your own updates:
http://mofv.com/mygig/

that stuff will come in handy later down the road, but i think your problem is with the volume. the phone volume is dependent on the level used during app usage.
good luck, let us know how it goes

Phone + app volume at about 90-95%, and i still have to turn up the uconnect to 25 minimum to hear anyone if I'm going under 55 mph, anything over 55-60 mph and i turn it up to 28-30. Just tested a couple hours ago.
