i did my top speed on my truck on the highway and i got up to 170km and the governor kicked in but hell she was rocking pretty good. if i took the governor out i bet these trucks could do over 200km for sure!

I will for sure not be using these stock tires in the test. Already had a blow out at 80mph and wouldn't trust these things to have another one.

Ive toped mine out a few times at 105. My 02 ram would top out at 118 and it felt like the thing was going to come apart. the new ram feels like your doing 80 when your over 100 doesnt feel like it is straining at all. some guy on another forum said he got a tuner and it has a top end speed of 140. I will not be getting this tuner because I would push it to 140. I would go over 300 if I could lol.

you will prob have to go to the local dodge dealer to have the limiter turned off i know i've topped out at around 105 on the highway before and that was on new tires so gladly no blowout

with the superchips turner I have done over 110 with no problem. it had allot of power left. I think it'd hit the 140 with no issue.

Gonna get positive and negative reactions from this post. Read my profile, I run OEM SRT rims with kuhmo 305/40/22s H rated. They are the same rating as the SRT ram that had the truck land speed record. Ive done 134 mph in my tuned Laramie with a SC cortex tuner. It took a min to get there but Im in NH so we have a lot of straight open road. The new trucks will handle it in a straight line as long as a moose doesn't jump out! Now don't misinterpret this and go out and push the truck if u reprogrammed it and took the limiter off, cause it doest handle like a 911! Blow off the other 1/2 tons on the road but dont be stupid! With the coil rear you dont feel like your gonna die at 130 but dont expect to carry a left hand sweeper at that speed and stay firm!

I work corners on the weekends at a major road race track (Miller Motorsports Park) I have had my truck up to the speed limiter a couple of times on the straights. The truck felt stable and smooth. A race track is by far the best place to do this 100+ speeds on the highway are ill advised.
