What are the differences between passenger car rims and truck rims? They are listed seperately in catalogs and all the rims I really like are for cars..... Grrrrrr.....

Is it just the weight rating? Since are trucks come with passenger car tires, seems odd that you would need truck rims. How would a guy find out the weight rating of a rim, it is never listed on the sites?

 

It's the strength. I'm no wiz, so I'm not completely up on why they won't work, but I've seen plenty of videos where people tried it and the rims shattered or bent.
