Default Turn signal blinking rate?

Have a question about the turn signal.
When the light for the rear signal goes out, the EVIC display "right tirn signal out" (or similiar).
Does it also start blinking faster?
And if it does, if you´ve had it on for a while, will it blink slower?

The reason for me asking is because here in Sweden we are not allowed to have red turn signals, so the importers (the dealers don't sell tha RAM trucks here) adapts the lights so they will be legal (since we have to register the car with a test to see that everything is legal / correct).
Because of this the importer put a led turning signal that is just connected to the wires for the turn signal.
The car propably warns for the turn signal since the resistance in the leds are different than the one in the lamp.

So my theory is that they just have to put a resistor (is that the correct English term?) before the led to make it work properly?

So the actual question is:
If your trucks has a broken turn signal, does the blinking rate go up, but if you have the turn signal on for a while the blinking rate goes back to normal?

Turn signal rate will not go back to normal. You can put a resistor in line to fix your issue. I'm not big into resisitors and diodes and such so I can't help you with what resistor but a google search should find something.

I'm not sure what the flasher relay looks like in these trucks, or how it would work, but they also do make plug in LED flashers. I put one on my bike and fixed the fast flash without going into the wiring.
