Besides what you can turn on and off what do you think about everyday driveability and performance?

I have had both the Bully Dog and the Superchips Cortex in my 2009 1500.. The Bully Dog went in good, but I always had driveabililty issues at lower speeds and fuel economy seemed to suffer a bit. Now Bully Dog was helpful, they just never could get the program right so I went to Superchips. So far the Superchips has been pretty good. I had to wait a few days for the correct program, but there is a reason for that - Dodge has many ECM images out there, can't really do a one size fits all upgrade. Superchips is the only company that seems to acknowledge this and does something about it. I still have a little roughness around the MDS mode, but not like the Bully Dog had. I think Dodge needs to work on the MDS programming a bit to smooth out the transitions. Superchips is the way to go in my opinion, there customer service has been better than any other tuner company I have ever used.

I have the hot tune right now.My truck is a different animal all together. The throttle response is awesome. The tranny shifts and alot more positive. But you will probably see the same results with a hand held tuner. Its all about your likes and wants. Everyone is different.
