Default Rear springs

I contacted a coil manufacture to produce a spring that is 1.5-2.0" lower than the stock rear unit to lower the truck.(level it). I was going to lower it but see too many people complaining that the ride went to hell. I bought my truck because of the ride so im not interested in crapping it up. If a few guys get into the buy, the price could get into the $200/pr range. Anyone interested?

I'm going to assume that you never use the truck as a truck? If you do it's sure going to look silly dragging rear down when you put something in the bed.

I'm definitely in. I've been looking to do the exact same thing on my 2010 RCSB 4x4 since I bought it.

most of the guys with a crew cab are using it as a family hauler and an occasional trip to get lumber , hit the dump etc. 4-500 lbs in the bed isnt much for this truck. An occasional dip in the rear temporarily, isnt an issue.
I will look at a progessive rate so that it gets stiffer as it gets loaded.
Shocks are not an issue with a difference of 1.5 inches. If you are heavy hauling or trailoring this isnt for you. Then again. rear springs are a snap to put in. If you dont like it, put the stockers back in. Its way easier than dealing with front springs.

I never saw a junkey or Sanford & son with a level truck...

I bought my truck as a daily driver/home depot hauler. IMO if your gonna do some serious work with it you should buy some air bags or buy a truck with leaf springs. I don't tow anything but I use the bed space often. There's nothing wrong with lowering or lifting/leveling your truck.

my truck is lowered 4 inches out back.. ive stopped off at ikea, photograghy store and even had a fridge back there and it didnt sag too much.

im not going to build my truck based on what i might do for 20 minutes once a month.

if i worked construction i might have a different opeinion. But i dont.. and i doubt people who are even thinking of lowering thier trucks do either.

i think a lot of people who say you cant do much with a lowered truck has prolly never had one to make an informed decision on.

to the OP.. i think with 2" youd be fine.. i still have my stock shocks on and im good with everything

I'm definitely interested!! I'm not a fan of the 'rake' look and I don't need the functionality of it as I have no plans to tow anything on a regular basis. I have wanted to put a leveling kit in the front but after reading about all of the horror stories with a leveling kit and 4th gen rams I just decided it's not worth the headache.

This seems like a common-sense solution, but I'm curious if it will have the same effect on the front end, like changing the CV angles, etc..., as a leveling kit would. And... by dropping the rear end I would think you could fit a slightly larger tire if it does indeed provide a 'leveled' stance. If these coils do not affect the front end and will allow me to put on a 34" tire- count me in!!! Throw in some air bags for heavy towing and this would be the perfect set up- IMO.

Im going to call them tomorrow. Lowering the back by 2" will cause a headlight adjustment. No different than removing your back tires and lowering the jack.
It will change the driveshaft angle slightly but far less than if you had 1000lbs in the bed.

Here is the outfit. I will get a price break number and post it. Right now its $400 for one pair to develop. As we get a few people in it only goes down.
