Parking Lot Hyjinx ---- Part 2
So, no update on the Dakota, although I did see it while out in the parking lot today greeting customers with news of a power failure. It came in through the lot, through the neighbouring business lot and then blasted out on to the highway. The thing sounds wicked. I gotta admit the whine of a supercharger gets my heart racing a little. Hopefully, more to come.....
But.... more hyjynx to regale you with .
At work this morning about 6:30 a couple of the girls come to tell me that someone had just hit the ditch in the lot ajoining ours. Right over by the light pole.... LOL It seems a car went over the bank seen in the light pole photo from the highway above. His wife was allready there, the neighbouring business had called 911 and the guy was out and fine. Good news. I asked what kind of car it was and was told some sort of brown sporty looking car. Now, what kind of sports car is brown? I mostly ignored it, thinking I would have to go look in a bit. As I headed out I saw a Porsche go heading out of the lot.... It is owned by a lady in town who's son wrote of her husbands Viper last year while drunk.... side story...... The parents were out of town. Teenager grabs keys to dads Viper after a couple drinks. Says to friends, watcht this ****. Climbs out of totaled Viper minutes later. Insurance denies claim due to DUI. Nice hey? Anyway, back to the hyjinx, I start to cross the lot and my cousin pulls up, first responder fire fighter. He tells me that the guy must have been wailing, the skid marks on the highway go from one lane to another, back again the again, then veer off into the centre meridian and then off the bank..... He was obviously cruising along nicely. Then my cousin says, too bad too, second Viper in a year. WTF? Yup, daddy bought himself a new Copper Head Viper and manged to park it in the ditch after a fight with the wife. So, not a brown sporty car, but a Copper Viper.
Ever wondered what the bottom of a Viper looks like?

Nice and smooth...

He obviously went over the bank backwards.... what a ride while it lasted. I was hoping to see it around town a little more since I wasn't sure I like a Copper Viper. Just seemed it should have been red. The last one was black, this one was copper, wonder what the next one will be?

Pulled many a fool out of vettes in the same position, they were not so lucky, they recieved 1st rate medical care, trauma alert and a tax payer helicopter ride to the hospital, some make it, many don't.
