Er, no. The radio network of AT&T is the global GSM system, meaning iPhones will work anywhere. Verizon Wireless uses a CDMA system, which is US & Canada only.

I think it only 50/50 that VZ will get the iPhone. It would have limited appeal. The 90 million subs of VZ pale in comparison to the global market for GSM. That said, a 10% takeup within VZ might make it worthwhile, but it would only be a sop to the cretins that swallowed the VZ "it's the network" KoolAid.

I stand corrected...didn't know Verizon was limited to US/Canada like that heh.

i got a htc imagio.. kinda like an iphone for verizon.

pretty cool but nothing really special... i think ima go back to flip phones soon... the screens get scratched easy when in the same pocket as my keys

Doc - that's why phone always goes in its own pocket from keys...duh...phone in the left, keys in the right, and ONLY the phone in the left pocket i don't put change or anything else in the same pocket as my phone. Even when I had a flip phone, coins, keys, random slim objects like that could still work their way in between the screen and the keypad so I just stopped carrying anything in the same pocket.

yeah... i tend to forget which pocket my phones in.. so when i hop out the truck im usually listening to the wife talk about something and having to get my duaghter out of the back.. so i just put my keys in my pocket.. totally forgetting if my phones in there or not.

a buddy of mine wheres blazers daily like t-shirts... hes trying to get me start wearing them... tell me there perfect for putting your phone on the inside pocket ... i dunno though.. not really my style
