Default Tire size help!!!

Hello fellow ram owners,

I'm in love with BFG All Terrain T/A KOs and planning to replace my ****ty OEM Good-For-A Years once they wear out.

Here is my spec:

2010 laramie 4x4 3.92 w/20" chrome clad wheels. no lifting done and I'd like to keep it that way. also I'd like to keep the OEM rims.

Will LT275/65R20 fit onto those without problems? I think they are 20x9 rims and the rim width range for the tires is 7.5-9 inches.

Anybody with the same setup as mine? any rubbing? or would I be better off with 285/55R20?

Thanks for your inputs!

People are putting 285/65/20's on oem 20's with no rubbing. This is what I plan on doing, I think it should look pretty good.

i saw a 2009 dodge ram sport lifted on what looked like a 4" suspension lift this weekend. The truck looked really good, so I went over to inspect and look at the tire size. The truck was sitting on aftermarket rims with 325/60/20 BFG AT's. I am thinking about doing a 3" body lift, but would like to keep my original 20" OEM rims. Does anyone know if these will fit?

285/65/20s work out 34.6" by the math, whereas the 275/65/20s are around 34." Yesterday, I was checking out a '10 on a lot compared to my '05 (with the 275/65/20s on it now) to see if the 65s will fit the new '10 I have on order. It looks like they will, so that will be my first mod before it leaves the dealership! It sounds dumb to swap used tires onto a new truck and new tires onto a trade, but my ATS only have about 12K miles and have been wonderful.
