I'm hoping we can make this a sticky, Doc Fluty's "bang for your buck" thread and that post by shieldsdb made me think of how I have like 5 different threads bookmarked for things I want to buy for my truck. I think it'd be easier and better to just have a shopping list thread, where the ONLY things posted in this thread should be links to buy the mods you see / like on here. As updates come and if/when this gets stickied I'll edit out these top 2 paragraphs, or whoever stickies it can do it (coughdocflutycough). Soooooo...

Cold Air Intakes:
Performance Chip:
Exhaust:
MagnaFlow Exhaust (bolt on)

[Link needed, post and I'll edit/add]
Lift kits:
4" Mopar Lift

Bed covers:
Truxedo (dealer locator is in top right corner)
Extang
BAKflips

Cosmetic / Aesthetic:
HID kits

Custom Tailgate / front grill badges

Audio / Visual:
MTX Thunderform dual 10" enclosure
NAV-TV

***Feel free to post links to help out, BUT... If you do post a link for this thread, please provide the cheapest/best deal you can find on the product so that we're not wasting money. For example, crutchfield is an awesome website, but only has the thunderform boxes WITH subs/amp, as opposed to empty (almost a $400 difference in price). Or maybe post both links. Hmmm....

I got a soft velcro tonneau for under 200 bucks a few months ago on ebay. I was really impressed with the quality and ease of installation. It has held up fine with no problems or leaks

My tonneau works like a hard top tonneau but looks like a regular cover made in USA by Craftec. Comes with everything you need very surprised at the quality since I paid 239. It is a nice cover and easy to remove completely. My wife can do it her self, but she is not your usual wife, she got my frame on my 72 Chev ready for Por15 with the degreaser and then the etcher all while wearing a bikini LOL. Ihave pics but she won't let me post them anymore.

A guy I work with has been batting around getting a electric fan and water pump. I can see how this would give some decent power gains but I'm not sold on it. Especially when you are looking at $800 for a cheap setup. Does anyone have experience with this (research, friend did it, etc)?

You may have good intentions but you are essentially wanting to consolidate every mod, part and where to get it from into one thread. That is too much info. People would have to weed through the thread. I personally like individual threads on mods/parts. A search is pretty easy to do and then you get many many posts in the thread on a particular mod. This is just my opinion and a whole catalog of parts is way too much for one thread.

I was thinking more just one post, and as things get added the posts can get deleted so there's not too much to wade through. I know that searching for most of this stuff will bring up 20+ threads most of which will be only slightly related to actually purchasing something, if at all, more like reviews/comments/arguments over which is better. Many threads have no links or info whatsoever on buying the product in question. I figured this thread could be JUST for the actual buying, and not the reviewing, so that you don't have to sort through threads looking for a link or trying to play around on google trying to find the best price.

I do like the idea of having a central location of products and their links.

Yes any one can do a search and find multiple hits for mufflers, CAI's and such. But most of these posts, at least the good ones, go on for months and can quickly turn away from the original posters question, concern or purpose for posting. I'd hope that most users try a search first, but if we had a sticky broken down by categories like: Suspension, Exhaust, Engine Performance, Interior accessories, Exterior accessories, it could help find what one is looking for a lot faster. It would need to managed closely to keep the comments off and or redirected to proper posts elsewhere.

Obviously one can still search all posts for what other people think, and it should be recommended that one read the posts about a product, like a disclaimer.

Let's put it to a forum vote for a shopping list?
