Clay barred the whip, and a rolling shot....
I drove the R/T all winter, so it needed a major spring clean. The interior still needs done, but yesterday my buddy Matt helped me clay bar the truck. It had MAJOR rail dust issues....I'm not really sure how we missed getting some before pictures.
He's a GM guy who works for Ford, so this was especially painful for him lol, here's an in progress shot:

Anyways, I got a couple quick pics afterwards. The thing is super smooth now. Yeah, I know I turned the wheels the wrong way.

We were on out way to get something to eat today and the freeway cleared up so he was able to click this rolling shot off. I'm linking it so my Dodge gets even more hits on his site

WOW!! you have *****. lol. i cant stand doing that much detailing work to my ride. after these MI winters, i get it professionally done, and sealed with a urethane treatment thing instead of caranuba wax....
I wouldn't have done it if my buddy hadn't helped.... Even so, I'm hoping I can barter some of my welding for a professional detail the next time around!
well i know a good
guy out by me, but canton is a little far for ya...
as long as we do it at least once a year you would be amazed how much longer your truck will look good. people that arent into cars mistake my 97 ranger for a new one.(given they havent changed styles much lol)
but you get the point...on our rams, $150-200 goes a long way over the life of the truck

Oh yeah...we took it into town to powerwash it before the detail. My buddy lives in a small out of the way town (St. Claire). On our was to the car wash, we see a 4th gen black RCSB sport. We didn't realize it at the time, but the dude flipped a u-turn and proceeded to look for us all through the town lol.
He found us, and his truck was pretty slick. It was a 4x4, but he special ordered it from the factory with 4.10 gears. I thought that was cool. He also had the magnaflow catback with 5" tips, an Airraid CAI, and a DS tuner. It sounded mean. It was a '09 with 1k miles on it. He said he also had a SS/T with 1200 miles on it and a Rumble Bee with under 1500. Cool dude, die hard Mopar guy.
