tryin to decide between 14 or 18". how much cab noise during normal driving does the 14 make. had a at3030 on my 05 ram that was dumped under bed and the wife hated it.she has the truck more than me. i like it to sound good,just dont want to hear her whine. thanks

 

I have the Mufflex 18". During in-town driving you can definitely hear the exhaust in the cab. At highway speeds, it doesn't sound much louder than stock.

 

I went with the 18" as well in my '09 Hemi. I had a flowmaster 2 chamber/no chamber that ripped all the time. I liked it at first but the highway drown started to vibrate my brain. The 18" mufflex retrofit using a magnaflow I think is perfect. Around town it grumbles a little more than stock but hammer it and the sound is twisting heads around. At highway speed, even with the MDS, it isn't annoying. But let another would be truck pull along side you and hammer it at 65 and once again it will open up and roar. Best of both worlds I think.

18" I got a 14" magnaflow on my v6 and it's louder than I'd like. Also you could get the muffler and new y-pipe and have them put on for about the cost of the mufflex, something to think about.
