I do have a pic of mine on my profile page. When I first installed mine, it sat about like yours. Then a friend of mine at work looked at it and said it should sit lower like the one on his truck. Withe a little help mine sits pretty much flush all the way around. Also I have the Rambox, so I didn't use the supplied hardware to install it. If I used there hardware the cover sat about 1/2 to 3/4" above the the bed of the truck all the way around. No offense, I think both of your trucks cover looks great. I just saw the pic of the one and didn't know if it did sit up a little bit, or just my eyes.

I can't see how it would seal as well if it sat flush. With the supplied mounting rails, it seems to me it sits up just a little bit intentionally so that any water pooled on top of it washes off to the sides/rear instead of sitting in the cracks. The rubber seal IS pretty good on it but I still wouldn't want standing water all the way around it you know? And I'm pretty sure you meant to say close the tailgate BEFORE the bedcover....otherwise the weather seal doesn't sit right.

I have the lo pro cover and when i close my tailgate first and then the cover it will not latch on. It seems like something is getting in the way so im wondering how are yall able to to close the tailgate and then close the cover? Also is that rubber flap suppose to sit on top of the tailgate because mine is usually inside the cover not outside.

If the cover will not latch once the tailgate is closed, you need to adjust the mounting rails upward like a fraction of an inch. The flap seal is supposed to sit on top of your tailgate.

The instructions say you close the cover first, then the tailgate and the seal should be on the inside of your tailgate not the top. Not saying you can't do it your way, just what the instructions say. I do it this way and never had a problem.

Here's a couple Truxedo Lo Pro QT pics, this is my second, I really like these covers.

Note these cool Truxedo cam clamps versus the boring extruded bolt clamps, Truxedo says the cool cam clamps are discontinued but I talked them out of a set over the phone.

That is how mine sits on my truck. When I first installed it, it sat higher and the rubber flap sat on top of my tailgate and I didn't really like that. So I made some adjustments and now the flap sits on the inside, and my tailgate when closed is about 1/16 of and inch below the cover. It just barely touches the cover when I close my tailgate.

It should be firm when you clamp it down, screw the adjusters in 1/4 inch and test. One thing I 'think' I noticed is that this new LoProQT cover seems thinner than my old 2004 unit. I have been having some water pool up and sag the cover, that never happened on my old one.
