Lowering a 2010??????????
Ok before I ask, I am a newbie and yes I came from the blue oval team back to Mopar. I have owned numerous Dodges over the years but took my business elsewhere after a bad run-in with a dealer.
Anyways I am back and I want to level/lower my 2010 CC Sport. I am trying to get the R/T look/stance. I spoke with my dealer today who was too lazy to look up the springs I needed without an R/T Vin number. So here is my question.
Has anyone lowered thier truck and if so how. I was kicking around the idea of cutting the rear springs with a cold saw, as I previously did on my Mustang GT. I would like to do it the right way (with a kit or springs) but I am unable to find anything out there yet.
And for those of you who are going to hit me with ( why the hell would you want to lower it instead of raising it), I just traded out of an 08 F250 diesel crew cab that I lifted and put 35's on. I am just looking to try something a little different.
If you have lowered it, please send me some pics, and let me know how. And it is 4x4 if that makes a difference. Thanks

Being a 4x4 does make a difference.... I have done two 09s, but both were 4x2s. Both started with a 2/4 drop, but mine is now a 4/5. The only 4x4 one I have seen lowered was a complete one off that the owner did himself with coil overs front and back. He is over on DT.
rjc799, Did you have to buy two kits to get it that low or were you able to buy the front components individually? I have the deluxe kit ready to be installed but would like to replace the front springs at the same time. I really don't want to buy the basic kit just for the front springs.
I went ahead and bought two kits (to have an extra set of rear springs, should I mess them up cutting). I could have bought just the spindles though. I am sure they will sell you just the front springs.
Just call and ask stylin'. They will call McGaughy on another line and tell you right then (that's what they did for me).
