As some of you may know I bought my truck smashed and am in the process of rebuilding it. What do you call the cover that covers the dash. The passenger airbag came out and split the dash open. I would like to order this dash piece new and don't know what to call it. I ordered the new airbag and thought that the dash cover came with the bag but it didn't. My dealer/ parts guy is not the best. A part # would be great. It is grey.

Dash Pad? no part number sorry.

 

Usually its referred to as an air bag cover. Not sure if this still applies when the air bag cover is the entire upper dash. Find a competent dealership employee who knows how to use STARparts to look it up for you.

 

This was all I could find. It doesn't look like Dodge sells the top cover without the rest of the assembly. You might want to try a salvage yard...

Thanks very much. There are no scrapped one around here at all. For that much $ I'll try and get it fixed. There is supposed to be a guy that closes them back up and you can't even tell.
