Default Im Stoked!!! New exhaust.

So I decided to go ahead and put a new flowmaster on today. I went to the local Midas and told em what I wanted. Not to loud, but louder than stock. The manager siad that he was out of stock on the flowmaster for my 2010 but assured me he had something just as good. I was skeptical but sfter he guaranteed my satisfaction by offering to replace the new muffler if I didnt like it, I agreed. An hour later I was smiling from ear to ear. Sounds absolutley identical to my buddy's 2009 with the mufflex ddo18 kit. The best part is that mine cost 189 out the door including tax and it is guaranteed for life. Plus its welded not clamped!!! Just thought I'd share it with anyone who is thinking about a new exhaust.

There is not a part number that I can see, it is about 18x10 inches, looks very similar to flowmaster 40 series.

I had a Magnaflow put on mine the same way at a local muffler shop. It's welded and not clamped too, price was about $170 installed.

Full cat-backs are a waste of money IMO.

Midas says that the muffler is a VR series muffler, but the guy I talked to did not have the model number. It ha a 3 inch inlet and two 2.5 inch outlets. Measurements are 13"L x 9.5W x 4.25H

That is an XLerator VR muffler made by Goerlich. Basically a Flowmaster knock-off.
