Default New truck!! - Good by expensive SRT8 luxury car!

So I got a RAM 1500 4x4 8' bed yesterday with the 3.92 rear end. Badass truck. I read and searched and I successfully got the stupid seat belt dinger disabled and I also took notes on resetting the "change oil" light Now I have 2 more questions that I couldn't find by searching:

1) Is there a way to make the automatic headlights stay on longer than 30 seconds after turning the truck off? (I would like 90 seconds like I had on my SRT8)

2) Is there a way to make the radio (delayed accessories) stay on longer than 1 minute? My SRT had a choice of 1 min, 5 min or 1hour... I would like the truck to have at LEAST 5 minutes delayed accessories, but an hour would be preferred.

Love the truck! Can't wait to start doing some small mods like air filter, mobil 1 oil and some nice tool cases and tano covers etc...

Thanks!

yes, if you have a NON stripped down truck. you should be able to access that in the evic menu in park from the steering wheel control...

the EVIC is not on the sterring wheel. he was referring to the buttons on the steering wheel. they navigate through the menu that is displayed in the instrument cluster.

The dealer should be able to adjust those things also. I know my '06 2500 would turn the radio off pretty much as soon as I turn the key to off. I asked them to set that for the longest duration and also turn on the high idle function. It's all in the computer.

So it can be done even if you don't have the EVIC in the gauge cluster.

What version is your truck ST, SXT, Sport, Laramie??? Do you have the center console? If you have auto headlights then you must have at least an SXT and I think the SXT has the EVIC its the display between the tach and speedo has mpg etc. when running in park you can get in there by the buttons on the front of the steering wheel and the adjustments can be made...most likely similar to the way you did it on your SRT...maybe you don't have it??????????

Sorry, I should put that it is an ST in the first post! DOPE!

No, it doesn't have the center console. I called the dealer I bought it from and they have no ideas. I don't wanna just bring it to them for them to ef around with it trying to figure it out and possibly mess something up... Plus then I would have to take MORE time off work which I don't wanna do.

Thanks for all the help guys! You guys are awesome!
