Anyone know why I get this "Lights On" message all of a sudden in my EVIC? I never noticed this before I recently had my ECM flashed. I am getting this message with the head lights in Auto mode. The message appears along with a chime when the key is removed from the ignition.

 

Interesting! I wondered one day why my radio touchscreen was so dim, and realized it was because the wipers were on. Turns on the headlights.

 

Mine is a 2009, so my evic is not the same as the 2010. I would go into setup and see if there is a setting that can be changed to get rid of the "lights on"

As far as the wiper on turns on lights. There should be a setting in setup. I unchecked it so lights don't come on with wipers.
