So Im getting a small spider crack on my windshiled fixed. I back out of the bay, and SMASH! I hit my driver side mirror on a wall! The mirror was busted and so was the trim. Apparently Dodge doesnt sell parts for the housing, but either just the mirror or the whole housing itself. $279 later I have a new one.

Anyways, does anyone have a diagram of the drivers side door, So I can see what needs to be done? I have all night, and would rather detail my truck than spend all noght trying to replace a stupid, expensive mirror.

Hey you are not responsible for that, they should not have let you drive that out yourself, you are not familiar with their surroundings. Did anyone guide you out? I would make them pay. That is why most places won't let you drive in or out. They have insurance.

 

I already bought the mirror. I will keep that in mind next time.

 

Hey Partner, I already did it. Wasnt as nearly as bad as I thought. I think all the electronics intimidated me when I started, but it was a breeze.

Glad you got the mirror easily replaced, I'm planning on upgrading to the 2010 towing mirrors at some point.

 

Exactly my thought, they did nothing yet should have to pay? With that attitude, I wouldn't be letting 72Combo drive his truck into my shop, disability be damned. He was driving, he should pay.... end of story. This is why the States are going to hell in a hnadbasket. sheesh.....

The states is going to hell in a hand basket because they are too worried about protecting oil. Also paranoia, look the other day someone forgets a cooler on the street and they spend how much to find out it's not a bomb.Understandable but costly. Why not just get one of those terrorists imprisoned to walk over and have a peek. If terrorists knew that is how they were doing this maybe they would quit...not likely since they are willing to die themselves why not kill your bud?

 

Might be time to adjust your meds or stop drinking so much.

As for the states going to hell in a hand basket, we've got much more to fear from our overly PC, whiney, entitled population than we do from terrorists.
