Sorry about the trade in, but as long as you are happy with it that is all that matters.

Mine is a daily and I love it. At least I can stick regular gas in it. My wife's 2010 MDX is half the size, only runs on premium, gets the same MPG and is a bear to keep clean (black). Now that stinks to me, but she is happy.

I really like what you have done to yours. It is a good looking truck.

Another reason I like the Versa, it only takes 4 minutes to wash!

Our RAM is my daily driver, and the constant family machine. In the 16+ years my wife and I have been together, I can probably count on two hands the number of times we've taken her various cars on a trip or even to the store. I've always had vehicles that got worse MPG than her's, but it doesn't stop her from making me drive everywhere.

The payments do stink. I came to RAM from a Nissan, which got the same MPGs and had a lot less power and towing cap, so the gas bill is bad, but nothing I'm not use to.

It sucks that you had to trade in the RAM, but you've gotta do what makes sense in your situation.

So, any mods to the Versa yet?

Sorry to hear you had to sell the Ram. But like everyone is saying you have to do what makes you happy!! Good luck in the future.

One of the reasons I bought the Versa is because it is not worth modding. I debadged it, but that is it. The engine is 122(?) HP with cast everything. I don't know of any makers of forged internals, high HP clutches, etc. So it makes it very easy to not wrench on!

I did join another forum, one that is dedicated to getting better gas mileage. I am working on trying to get 40+ mpg on the highway.

If I knew then what I know now, I would still be driving the same vehicle I bought right after I joined the Navy in '99. I would have so much more money in the bank!

I drove my truck 4 times last month...... While it is great for gas mileage, when you divide the payments by 4, those were 4 damn expensive trips. LOL But, come camping season, I am good to go. Plus, I can't ride The Mistress in the winter.
