Looks very tough now!
Unless the stock hood is badly damaged it is definitely worth some money. We had to have the hood replaced on our 2005 Grand Cherokee from a minor accident and the body shop billed insurance $815 for just the part, not including paint. That has an aluminum hood like the Ram.

Confirms the price I paid for mine. I got my dealer down to $850 for the Challenger hood, $500 for the paint, and $35 for the install.

I get to keep the original (black) hood. Wife's not real crazy about me storing it in the garage, but I figure it has to have SOME value to someone. Would have loved to have swapped it for the cost of paint and install.

I'd post a photo, but don't get possession of the truck for another 2-3 weeks.

Mine came in (3 weeks from order date) and is being picked up Monday for paint. I should have it on by Wednesday and I will get some pics up.

Is your old hood flawless, no dings, scratches etc. ? Are you selling it and how much if so and where are you.

It had better be flawless, no dings, scratches, etc. The truck was just painted at the factory last week. The dealer is taking the stock hood off and the Challenger hood on before I take possession of my new truck in a couple weeks.

I'll be selling the stock hood for sure, I just don't have a price in mind yet. I have a couple body shop friends that can help me with that. I figured I'd get the truck here first. I'm in Eastern Iowa.

Take the inserts out and cut holes in the lining under the hood and it blows air right on top of your intake. Now you just need an aftermarket intake like the K&N.
