Default Help finding Laramie grill inserts?

Hey everyone,

Just got a new ,10 cc 4x4 1500 and lov'n it. I came out of a new gen Tundra and overall it has been a good trade over.

My question is: I have the big horn grill with the flat chrome horizontal bars but I really like the look of the expanded metal look of the laramie inserts. it looks like those inserts are seperate from the main grill.

Does anyone know where I can get those without getting bent at the Dealer?
I Shopped ebay and online but unable to locate so far. Thanks for all the great info on here. This site is great!

Note: i borowed this pic, hope it is OK.

Where are you located? It's much easier to swap out the entire grille and a few of us are looking to swap out the chrome honeycomb for the chrome billet.

I'm in Southern Cal but if someone wanted to swap im sure the shipping one way for each of us wouldn't be bad to get what we want.

just a thought.

But i still would like info on locating if a swap does not work out.

Thanks for the replies

ebay is probably the way to go, then sell yours here or on ebay. swapping through the mail would ensure a grill-less truck for a few days.
i've heard that changing the inserts themselves can be done but it hard not to break the clips that hold them in.

It really isn't that hard to change the insert out if you are patient and it isn't cold. Done it a few times without any issues whatsoever.

I'd buy the insert you want and sell the one you take out. I actually switched to the horizontal bars recently. Could not find any for sale so I got new. And I'm not the only one. So there is and will be a market for your old ones if you are careful and don't break the clips.

If i was to try and change just the honeycomb inserts, does anyone know what those would cost from the dealer?

Also, If i was to buy the whole laramie grill assembly, what is the going price used?

Thanks
