Default Mud tire help

Shopping for 35's for 2010 trx4 4x4 crew cab. Don't know much about mud tires and how to match them up to a wheel though (new to the truck scene).
So i need some help. I've been looking on tirerack and found the rims i plan to buy by ATX is 20x9 too big?
Also how do i match 35's to those wheels, i saw someone on here running 35x12.5x20 i think. So thats what i have been looking up, but how do i know that will fit the rim or are they all made to?
And what's a durable mud tire on/offroad?
Thanks

Your correct on the tire size. Thats pretty standard for a 35 tire.I have a set of Cooper STTs on my Jeep and LOVE them. Pretty quiet on the road and they will sling the mud.

Offset on the wheels will be important.

well what i'm looking at right now is toyo open county mt 35x12.50R20
and the dimensions on the wheels are:
Size: 20x9
Offset: -12mm
Backspacing: 4.56"
Bolt Pattern: 5-139

Does that all look right? I saw this setup on a 2010 trx4 on here already just dont know if they had to do any extra mods to fit it all. I know it will most likely rub when turned all the way but thats ok by me
