Has anyone with a CC ever needed a longer bed for anything?
My vehicle before owning the CC was a Grand Cherokee. I found it difficult to adjust to parking the CC because its so much bigger and longer. Even with the assistance of the back up camera, I've resorted to parking in the back of parking lots where its more empty, but sometimes even the back gets crowded. They're awesome trucks but I don't think I'd be able to handle parking a CC long bed dually on a regular basis. How has it been so far?

I had two Jeep Grand Cherokees then a Lexus before I got the truck so I am used to large SUVs but the Dodge dually with the wide rear end took some getting used to. I bought a camera but haven't installed it yet.
I haven't had parking problems in SC or on my trip to New Paris I.N but I may have some problems when I drive to LI NY and CT. I expect there will be problems when I visit friends that live in the Elmhurst Queens area of Long Island
Before I got this I had a silver Jeep Wrangler, then a Silver Jeep GC that I flipped on it's side at 60 MPH when someone cut me off on RT 495 and forced me into a snow bank (road was dry and clear if it wasn't I would not be doing 60). If the Wrangler flipped at 60 mph I wouldn't be alive to tell the story. I was so impressed that I only got a small scratch with the G.C that I replaced it with another GC.
Then I made a mistake and replaced the GC with a Lexus, Lexus makes a good car but I really need a truck or large SUV. I though I could get by renting a truck when I needed one but that never worked out well. So now that I got my camper I am going to do some traveling. After I get back from NY Arizona is next to visit a friend I knew since I was about 8 years old. Then maybe Alaska in 2011.
The Wranglers are tougher than you give them credit for. The sport bars are quite tough in roll overs... This video clip doesn't show them going 60, but its quite an event. They flipped it back onto its tires and drove it home after this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouWJa6FC7-E
Anyway, I'm glad you were OK after the GC flipped. I hope I never have to experience anything like that. Its good to see you back from the dark side though (Lexus).
