Default 2010 recall. key can be pulled out before in park..

was just on detroit news. i think all 2010 cars that use the key like the ram are affected......

Reminds me of the time I pulled into a parking spot, turned the key off and started fumbling around in the console for something.

When I tried to pull the key out; the darn thing wouldn't release.

You shoulda heard me cussing at that sunuvabitch. Would've turned the faces red on a group of sailors.

So I reached into the console to grab a pair o' pliers to yank the darn thing out when I noticed the shifter.......


STILL IN DRIVE !!!!

not true. i didnt have my truck all the way in park one day and i didnt know it. i yanked and yanked on the damn key and couldnt pull it out. i was panicking cause i couldnt turn my truck off. then i hit the shifter again and it went down to park and the key pulled right out.

OK!!! CRAP!!!!!!!! ,I did it too, the shifter wasnt in park all the way, I got a little worried, felt dumb.......

i did it a lot after I switched to an automatic from stick, never used to move the shifter when I stopped just hit the e brake and shut er down in first usually.
