Default New question on Mod I guess.

Ok, here is the thing. I have the Alpine sound system with the sub in the back and all that jazz. The cover over the sub enclosure loosens up and starts to rattle. So what I would like to do, is remove that cover, and maybe the sub, put a new sub in and put a plexieglass cover or fiverglass cover over the sub instead of the factory one, or maybe even put the sub in a new box that will fit behind the back seat of my crew cab, and use the origanl one for more storage. So my question is, does anyone have any ideas or tips on what I could do and how I should go about it? Maybe even sub options. Want to stick with the 10" though. Thanks for any help.

Yea it is still under warranty, but I have a feeling that all they will do is put a little lock tight on it to fix it. Plus I am looking to maybe try something a little different with it. Just kind of looking for other options or suggestions, but I don't know for sure yet.

Behind the rear seats would be nice to open up more storage. Would speakers fit back there? Is there an easy way to access that area or do you have to remove the seats?

I think I would have to remove the back seat. They do make low profile subs, so I think that would work. I would have to take measurements before I remove the back seat to see if a box and sub would fit behind the back seat. Hope it could work, but don't know. It may be a little while before I get the chance to see. Have a wedding and honeymoon coming up that I have to pay for.
