Default Bumper Rust Replacement

So Myself as like some others I have read have the rust on my bumpers after 5 months of buying my truck. I called back in february about this problem and they said to wait a few more months to see if it gets worse. I got my first oil change today and when I was at the dealership I figured I would ask em again about it. Long story short they are replacing my bumpers at no charge. I would say thats a good result of the problem.

Turtle wax chrome polish works awesome. No real elbow grease necessary. Just apply, let it dry and wipe off with a dry cloth.

Had the same problem with mine...except when I went to the stealer...they told me it was due to lack of maintainance and wouldn't do anything for me. WTF??????
So I went the Turtle Wax route too...

Dealer told me Chrysler knows and is waiting for new supplier, they will issue an RRT when they can.

I'll give it time, worst that happen is it falls off from rust and they gotta replace it.

The dealers also have some kind of cleaner they are supposed to try on the rust before they replace the bumpers. They used it on mine, and I have to say, it removed everything except one rust spot. I don't know if its available for purchase by vehicle owners or not, but it worked wonders for my truck. The bumpers looked almost brand new again.....

do you know if the dealership has to replace the bumper with the same part or can you request an upgrade? I've got the grey ST bumpers and i'm interested in the sport bumpers for some reason, also been thinking of having the bumpers rhino lined. it will solve the rust problem..

Autosol will do it, all around great stuff, you can even get the dull off your plastic headlights with Autosol. I wish it was like the celebrity talk show hosts mention a product they get a lifetime supply.
