Default Overhead Console Camera?????

I just got my 2010 sport 2x4 and I have a question. In the overhead console, between the homelink and map lights, there appears to be a camera. I am really curious what this is. It could also be an IR receiver, but I have no idea what it would be for considering the homelink uses RF. Any insight would be great as I am really hoping that it isn't a camera. If it is, the misses and I are going to be on the internet for our drive home and I don't really want to have to explain that one. Thanks.

Not quite sure what your referring to but quite sure it isn't a camera. Maybe just the console light thats up there that emits a green glow at night??

Take a picture and post if you want a definitive answer, but rest assured big brother has not invaded your truck!

Chrysler keeps an eye out for smoking in the cab, which voids the warranty. if you didn't smoke afterward, you should be ok!

Big brother is watching you. Thank the current administration for taking care of you so well.

The camera may also double as an infrared temp sensor for the climate control system.

Its a light that shines at night over the cut holder area.

If it points to the rear, it's a interior temp sensor (IR I think) for the automatic heater/air controls. There is also a small light in that area that points straight down.
