Default Question about the lift

I have the identical truck but have heard that levelling a laramie with AWD is not possible due to excess vibration.
Do you get any vibration when driving in awd or 4wd?
What kit did you use?
do you have any before and after pics with stock tires?
Thanks for sharing
p.s. great pool!

Yes.. going from a Ram 1500 to a Scion was not much fun, but I saved tons of gas... I was doing a bunch of field work and putting on lots of miles so gas was an issue. Going from a Scion to a Dodge Ram 1500 is lots of fun.

I researched all the vibration issues as well... put on the tough country 2" level with the expectation that I might be taking it right back off. Installed the kit, had les schwab put on 35" toyo open country m/t's onto the stock rims, did an alignment, and tested it.

Drove it in auto 4wd, 4wd lock, switched back and forth at different speeds 10 or 15 times. Had no vibration. Regardless that my truck doesn't vibrate, I still look at the level kit as temporary. Will be installing a lift kit in a month and sell the level kit. I am not sure.... but I didn't think the 35's would fit without at least having the level kit. You will have to double check that though.

Trying now to decide if I am going to go with a 4" lift, or bump up to 6". I am leaning towards the 6".

I'm not sure why this keeps coming up. The vibration seems to be an attribute of the front diff/half shafts and not the 246 transfer case(on all Laramies and some Sports) as it happens on base and TRX4 trucks as well. If you don't have the vibration on your stock truck you'll likely not have it with a leveling kit.
