new truck, 1 month old 2010, a strange crack appeared in the side mirror, looks like it is cracked from the inside and spread in a curve, but not reaching the surface.... the mirror was never bumped or anything, just looks like it might have been because of a manufacturing flaw

going to take it to a dealer to see what's up with it, would something like that be covered by warranty? probably a pain to replace too I bet

 

I think I remember someone here changing out their glass part of the the mirror..I think it was the dude with the viper and srt10 and 09 ram rt94???

 

took it in to a dealer where I'm out of town near (not where I bought it) and they examined it and determined that it was a flaw and not due to external damage so they are fixing it on warranty.

very nice people to deal with too, I might just buy my next truck from these guys

 

I had the same thing on a 2010 rental I had. I think it was from temperature change. I believe they had it replaced on warranty as well.
