Default Bluetooth Module for Base Model Unit

I have the base model unit for our rams with the hands free bluetooth. Does anyone know where the module is located? I heard it was seperate from the actual radio head unit.

I replaced the head unit with an aftermarket one and wanted to sell the other or module to help another person out that wanted the hands free.

Thx.

If you have the module it will be on the kick step area. Open the lower glove box and squeeze the sides in so it opens all the way, take your stuff out first, then look the the right on the side where there use to be vents on old trucks there will be a black box about 2 inches or so by 3 or 4 inches and a cable plugged into it heading back to the radio and you would have a mic on your mirror also if you have it already.
I should have asked did you have it working with the base radio?

An easier way to find out if you have the box if you don't have it working already is to push the uconnect button and it will say vehicle not equipped with this option. Means you don't have the box. If you did it would ask you to pair a phone or some other stuff.

Thx 72combo, ya, i've used mine from day one and love it. But i just installed a DNX9140 and it has it built in as well. I'll check when I get home tonight, thx for your input and help.

Figure I'd sell it to a user here that might want that option for cheaper than the dealer would offer.
