I enabled the option to have your mirrors auto-tilt down when putting the truck in reverse, and lately, my passenger side mirror has been tweaking out. Sometimes it will go all the way down, and not tilt back up when I shift out of reverse, or it will only go part of the way down or up, seemingly at random and different amounts of tilt each time. Occasionally, it'll twitch enough for me to see the view change, but not enough to really CHANGE the view you know? Taking it in to the dealer sometime this week to see what they can say about it, I called my uncle and asked him (he works there) and he said it happens sometimes if someone hits your mirror and then folds it back open even if there's no visible damage. Good thing it's covered by warranty....

Anyone else have a similar issue?

 

I had that happen a time or two but it pretty much works correctly.

After thinking about it I turned the option off. I don't really see any big advantage to it and imagine the less wear and tear on the mirror motors the better. The rear camera gives me the most important view crystal clear.
