I bught it in late Dec/ early Jan. Paid for it. Bought parts, paid for them. bought some more parts, paid for them. etc. It's been a bit longer than I wanted but when done I will own the truck. I've done all the work myself except for welding in and aligning the new side rail, and the paint.

Well guys I had a close call! I've been storing/working on my truck at my friends shop. Always lots of movement around the shop, equipment, vehicles etc. I drive by and see my friends old Dodge (that he was letting his son drive) parked a little too close to my newly fixed truck. The son bought a new car, so the old truck was gonna be sold. My fathers been putting the bug in my ear to bring my truck home before someone damages it. Anyways, the old truck parked too close to my "new" one was the motivation I needed. So yesterday I got myself a coffee and walked the 15 mins to go bring her home. Washed it all up, cleaned all my tools out of it. Put it in it's spot, safe at last. About an hour ago my friend shows up. Did you see the old Dodge at the shop? Yes why? It's gone someone stole it! Now if I were a betting man there is no way they went there to steal a $500 truck! They went there to get mine! I feel sick! It''s been there for 6 months no problems, and the same day I take it home this happens, wow! And I don't have any insurance on it yet. I must have a horseshoe up my butt! I was gonna wait another week to put it on the road, but I'm gonna do it tommorow now! Thats all I needed was to see all my hard work and lots of $ gone! There has been alot of thefts of trucks around here. I thought I was safe cause it's well lit and neighbours are close. I'm sure glad my father put that bug in my ear! CLOSE ONE!

Get some insurance man, even if it is just fire and theft till your are driving it..we have replacement here too. Had to use it a couple years ago when my son totalled a Sebring. It was accident forgiveness and they asked me if I want to fix it or not and I said well if I have choice and it doesn't count hell no I don't want it. It was an okay car quick but sloppy and well cheap leather, was a demo with like next to no km's on it but still I didn't like it much.
