The Nav data and OS files take up the rest. On the non-Nav radio you get about 28GB total free, so the OS stuff (and the usual misrepresentation of what a GB is versus bytes) eats up 2GB. Your nav must eat up about 12GB for map data and software. Rob

Eventually it will be full with constant updates? We shall need bigger hard drives. Mine has over 28 gb left REN that is after several cds loaded into the hd. I think this thing will hold a lot of music.
