Ok, I just got the controlelr and bezel in today and I installed them without issue. Now the question is how do I know if they are working? I dont have a trailer yet just preping the truck to tow a camper I yet to find and buy... I was looking at the 7 pin testers and none say they test electric brakes?? Short of hooking up to a trailer and using the manual slider to stop the trailer while not using the truck is the only way I know ..

 

I think I got it. Just took my 12v lightbulb tester and it works lights up when brakes are applied..

 

Well do you see the little picture of the truck and trailer in your evic when its on? if not you need a trip to the dealer and have it starscanned in.

 

yep, need to goto the dealer and have it flashed...

 

I just ordered mine today as well. Also ordered the leveling kit as well. Grand total for everything was 261. Its great when your wife works at a dealer!

 

Does anyone have the exact partnumber or something to tell the dealer on the EVIC?
