Yep, just as the title says, my Serius subscription ran out last Monday. I thought initially I would miss it, no I don't. Hav'nt had any harassing phone calls for about a week. You never know if I'll renew at a later date, I'll say this much, the price has to beat hands down any other offer that was listed on my previous thread about this subject.
Good for you. When I lived in a big city or an area with lots of stations I most likely would'nt miss it either. However, living in an area with a couple of stations only, Sat radio is nice. It also was great on a long road trip.
I've been without it for 8 months and haven't missed it since. I don't get many stations but what I do get combined with the music on the HDD doesn't justify paying for more radio stations.
You must not have engine static being picked up by your FM radio like me. If I didn't renew mine, I would have to listen to recorded music or AM radio.

No, my truck is all standard with the RES radio. It is really bad when the engine is under load going up hill. A portable FM radio will pick it up too. I went to the dealer and drove another 2009 with the hemi, and it did it also. It has stumped the technician. I have never had a radio where the AM band sounded better than the FM. FM is the only band with the noise.
I am letting mine expire also. I can't see paying 176.00 a year for music. In these times you have to watch every penny.
I don't know if it helps, but you could ask for the $95 anual subscription. Just ask for it directly and you will get it without any haggling. This is what used to be the $77 subscription until they added the royalty fees. Pretty much their bottom line. I have had XM and Sirius for the last 3 years and I would never pay $176. I would listen to my clear AM stations first.
