Was it easy to do the wiring up there?

Though I don't think that is "stealth" enough for my installation (even though it looks really cool ).

Does anyone have pics of how it looks behind some of the consoles etc? So I know how easy it is ti do the wiring?

Maybe tape of the switches and paint the framing and screws the same colour as the headliner???? Interesting place for switches.

i use em all the time...and need a bunch (i need more actually) but the wiring wasnt too bad...did it a year ago so i have to refresh my memory pulled the a-pillar trim off...and dropped the headliner down by the "makeup mirror/sun visor", pulled out that center console thing the garage door openers...snaked my bundle of 7 wires up there, cut my hole, made the panel and voila.

Why does one need so many switches? Are they for the oil slick and machine guns?

I dunno but the idiot that engineered the steering wheel buttons must have been a gameboy addicted 12 yr old. the cruise control might as well have been placed in the glove box it's so cumbersome.

I'm going to move the tow/haul button to the console shift lever and the cruise control to the Evic buttons.

Also gonna get some landing lights off of a 747 and mount them backwards on the roof for you guys with HID's. Won't need no switch for that...will hook it up to the mirror light sensor.

And...and....

I sure do agree with that cruise button , unless you use it regularily it seems my problem anyway is I forget how to use it so I am staring down at this damn thing trying to figure it out. I don't drive the truck much let alone on the highway. Not because I don't want to. cuz I am not up at at em like everyone else everyday.
