If its just peeling off the vinyl why do we have to remove two screws? Trim?

because the vinyl goes behind the rubber trim on the bottom of the window.

well, decided to remove the black tape... i always hate how they get water spots and usually dry and crack after a few years of baking and are impossible to get off then... also lost a passenger rear window visor so took that drivers off to match. was thinking of painting the visors possibly if i can get a replacement....if not i may not replace them

Hey mine is Brilliant Black and it doesn't come with that heavy tape between the 2 doors. My friend bought a Silver one and it came with that black tape.

Thats because on a black truck, blacking out the B-Pillar is fairly redundant. The only reason its there is to give consistent flow between the front and back windows if they are all tinted. Since its black already there is no point. If you look at your build sheet, window sticker or whatever you have with the options it probably says "Blackout tape delete" or something to that effect
