The Crown Vic lives on in Police and fleet sales though.

No it dosen't.Its GONE! No more panther platform.Deleted,deceased,no more etc.New Ford cop car is FWD.

The Police Fleet is going from the Crown Vic to the new Taurus SHO. At least that is what I have been told by vet officers.

Probably correct.Pit maneuvers with a FWD.Go figure. Yea they still made Mercury's.See Gran Marquis everyday.Nothing rare about them.Every Ford store carries them once the Crown Vic was removed from retail sales. Now you want a rare late model hot rod find a clean Mercury Marauder.

It's a good thing for us. They will find the Taurus too small for the big cops, They don't complain too much about the Charger as far as I have heard. I have a few friends that are cops. I see trailers full of various police cars coming from Brampton. I counted a hundred trailers in a 60 mile trip.
