2011's

Whats the deal can't get a 2010 anymore? What changes in the 2011 but the increase in price? Any really cool new item that all of us will be trying to retrofit to our trucks?

I bought one this week, dealers have quite a few on the lots, if a dealer dosen't have what you want they can locate one and get it for you

What month in 09 did they start considering a new truck an 2010 ? mine was built 12/09 and is considered a 10. If it was only a 6 month run for the 2010 model year, well that just sucks !!!!

typically the model year starts in july at some point

you cant order 2010 anymore becuase it is too close to the end of the modelyear and all orders have been filled

you can still find them on the lots and dealers will still be getting 2010s but yopu cant order one for 2010

According to an article out of USA today Production was down this year. Therefore there we be no big rebates and the 2010's are getting hard to find already.

every year Dodge has "buildout" around late June, meaning they stop building 2010's, make some plant changes/upgrade and then start 2011's probably early July this year....

if they built vehicles 2010's from January 1st 2010 until december 31st 2010, dealers would have a TON of leftover's into the next calendar year.... this control's the amount of leftovers that dealers have in January 2011

I just heard/read that 2010 Mercury Gran Marquis were the last.Went shopping last week for one.Very few in inventory anywhere. Can't order cause production was already shut down and it was JUST announced. Finally located one with color and equipment I wanted. They did take $8k off MSRP.$4k in rebates and dealer stepped up with a $4k match. So no more Crown Vic's or Gran Marquis.End of a era.

I believe all Mercury cars.suvs will cease to exist soon, not just the Grand marquis.

Havent seen any blowout pricing on them yet but I'm sure in a few months they will be getting cheap.

That is correct. They(Ford)killed the whole Merc.lineup.the panther platform Crown Vic and Marquis are both gone. That platform is just so darn trouble free cause its so old I just had to have one to hold wife and maybe me for the next ten years or so.
