how much did it run you? how does it sound? did you fuel mileage improve?

people point out the search function when typical questions get asked to show sometimes inexperienced users that they can possibly find answers to their questions without asking.

take this case

if you searched for cold air intakes.. you could come up with thread with 20+ replies. So you could get your question answered very quickly with many points of view. However if you just come out and ask you might have to wait days just to get 4-5 replies.

so informing people about the search function isnt rude.. its pretty helpful. granted sometimes it gets said in a tone that can be misunderstood. i dont believe the #2 post was rude.. but others may have.

anyway............

yes some of us (including me) have had a cold air intake on our trucks for over a year and i have not heard anything bad about any set up anyone has.. including home made versions with pvc pipe.

volant has a good reputation.. i run a mopar version and it seems to be doing its job well.

I have the Volant. It is a high quality unit and the fit and finish are great. I went with the Volant because I wanted a box sealed from the hot air from the engine bay and also something that wouldn't be too loud.
