I bought my ram used and although I have the original window sticker I cant find anywhere that states which size gears I have in my rear end. Anyone know if you can get it from the vin? I looked on the door jam but says nothing....

 

Your local dealer's service or parts people can get that info from the VIN.

Should be a tag on one of the differential bolts

 

climb underneath the rear end and there should be a sticker near the bottom of it, you have to look really really close mine was covered up by road dirt and stuff and the first few times I looked for it I found nothing and brought a rag with me the third time to wipe the rear and there it was lol

 

The sticker on mine was on the right axel tube. I didn't have a metal tag on the punkin.

 

3:55 says so on the axel tube sticker. Thanks guys!
