72 combo, I just roll the dimmer switch all the way to the left till it clicks it turns off the lights and you can keep the door open all you want ...............

Thanks man that is what i am looking for.I was looking thru the manual it must be there I just missed it or whatnot. When in a hurry easy to miss something. Thanks again.

All you have to do is turn the dimmer on the dash off. It's called "party mode" or something like that. I just wish the door chime would shut off with the drivers door open.

Interior Lights
Courtesy and dome lights are turned on when the front
doors are opened, when the dimmer control (rotating
wheel on the bottom of the switch) is rotated to the far
right detent position, or if equipped, when the UNLOCK
button is pressed on the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
transmitter. When a door is open and the interior lights
are on, rotating the dimmer control all the way left, to the
OFF detent, will cause all the interior lights to go out.
This is also known as the Party mode because it allows
the doors to stay open for extended periods of time
without discharging the vehicle’s battery.

Ooops! I was a little late on this one. lol

No not too late, is that in the owners manual ? I swear I am going blind I read that thing from front to back top to bottom!! Tell me you got that from somewhere else. All good info guys learning something new everyday, Only have a small harddrive these days seems I learn something new I forget something old or maybe not so old, I might forget this next week>yikes. So the torque is 32inch lbs? LOL J/K Thanks man really all you guys smart like whips driving nice whips.
