recharging air cond.
I finally have my truck on the road! The last piece of the puzzle is to fill the air conditioning system with gas. Can anyone tell me the type of gas and amount (lbs) the system holds. There should be a sticker under the hood some where with the info. My stickers are all gone.
Thanks
Shawn
Thanks

I would take it to a dealer or and a/c shop its under 100 bucks to fill it properly, since yours has been emptied I think you will need oil to and whatever else they put in there these days. and they can pressure test and make sure you are good for years to come. Really it's worth it. You have done so much yourself and saved so much. I would give this one to the pro's. Give the VIN to a dealer I bet they can come up with the stickers you need.
I f you are going to do it yourself..........

Then he does not know what he's doing. If he has the equipment he does not need to know the capacities.
