Default Install of Billet Technologies Catch Can Help 2009 Dodge Ram 5.7 L

Can someone tell how they mounted a Billet Technologies Catch Can on a 2009 Dodge Ram. I have a AEM Brute Force CAI. The engine cover will not allow the catch can to install. I believe the Z bracket is attached??? Any ideas? Pics would be good. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

The BT can with a Z bracket made for 4th gens (BT part # 20014) will clear the engine cover but you can't use the exact bolt hole in the head that the instructions tell you to use.

There are '3' (I believe) bolt holes in the head in close proximity to the one BT says to use (Which is the highest of the 3). If you move 'down' and 'out' 1 set, it will clear the cover.

I know it's not a Ram Truck; but I mounted mine on my Hemi Magnum over here on the ABS cover; plenty of clearance and lots of room to empty it. Mine is a Big Bully catch can; have a BT one on my Magnum R/T.

Hope this at least gives you another idea...

Got home and dug up my pics. This is the bolt hole in head used to install BT can. The cover will fit when the can is installed this way

It's a plastic 'hose'. Easy to see on passenger side of intake once the cover is removed

Correct. In my pic, you can see a rubber end under the TB, and part of the plastic 'hose' running alongside the intake/on top of the fuel rail.

It was kind of a 'struggle' to get the hose off the intake up by the TB. had to 'work it',,, The connection back at the PCV valve area was easy enough to just pull off. (Do it first!)
