The KN is the most expensive and it's not even shiney so you would really be bummed LOL.The best looking one is the actual Mopar one but it is metal and metal retains heat so I hear you can actually heat the air going in this way?

Why take the top off? you will just allow warm air in. Just get the KN replacement filter for the OEM box and leave the lid on.
