Mine used to do the same thing when it would shut off (for about 2-4 secs) and sound like it was changing to defrost or another zone. The recall that came out for the HVAC system fixed it for me.

It looks like this last recall fixed mine also. Have not had an issue since. I don't know how, but mine also seems to drain water better.

In addition to fixing my original issue, it seems like the rear A/C vent blow a little bit harder also. Or maybe its just me.

I thought this was my post on the A/C stinking. They had already fixed the other problem as mentioned. It was this last flash that seems to fixed my A/C stinking problem. Have not had the problem since.

Anyone know of an A/C deodorizer spray that gets rid of the musty smell?

Not that gets rid of the smell. It just seemed to cover up the odor for a few days and then it would return. The best way to get rid of the smell is turn off the compressor and run the fan on HI for a few minutes before getting to your house. Do this for about a week and the smell should be gone. You can also run the heater for a faster dry out. The key is flushing the water out of the system.

Lysol and Frigi Fresh are a few mentioned. Spray them into your air intake. I have tried both with only temporary results.
