2009 Ram Windshield Wiper fluid sprayer busted
Guys,
I went to wash the windshield the other day and the driver side dribbled out of the hood mounted sprayer.....get out of truck and find the black insert on the hood....look at the unbroken one and looked at how it seemed to fit in ......reinstalled, and no soap....still dribbles out. Anyone have this happen to them? Does the insert go in small opening on top or on the bottom? should it click in? just adding to the stuff that has to be remedied by the dealer.

DESCRIPTION
The fluidic washer nozzles are constructed of molded plastic and include an integral check valve. Each nozzle has two integral latches (3) that secure them in dedicated holes in the hood panel near the base of the windshield. The domed upper surface (2) of the washer nozzle is visible on the outside of the hood panel, and the dual nozzle orifices (1) are oriented towards the windshield glass.
An integral diaphragm type check valve is contained within the body of each nozzle. The washer plumbing fittings (4) for the washer nozzles extend below the hood panel and are accessible from the engine compartment.
The washer nozzles cannot be adjusted or repaired and, if ineffective or damaged, they must be replaced.
INSTALLATION
1. From the top of the hood, position the washer nozzle (1) to the mounting hole on the outside of the hood panel.
2. Align the anti-rotation tabs of the nozzle with the anti-rotation notches in the mounting hole.3.Using hand pressure, push firmly and evenly on the top of the washer nozzle until the integral latch features lock into place on the underside of the hood.

Somewhat on topic:
When I press the windshield washer button, the fluid does NOT spray until after the wipers make a full sweep of the windshield ('09Ram). My other Dodge trucks have sprayed the fluid first before the wipers do their thing.
Question: Is your washer spray/wiper sequence the same as mine?
