Default UConnect Syncing.

I just picked up my 2010 1500 Sport and it is awesome. I'm still playing around with everything, but am very pleased thus far.

However, I can't get my UConnect working properly. I have the 430 system, but I can't figure out how to transfer over audio files. Do they have to be in a certain format? Whenever I hook the USB up to my Ipod it says there are no audio files available to transfer, same with pictures.

Also, it says in the owners manual that when plugged into the Ipod cable, my Ipod will charge. This is not happening, is it a problem with the Ipod or with the system in the truck?

Anyone have these same problems?

I think you have to plug your ipod in the glove box, not in the usb. I could be wrong though, since the radios have changed?

Good luck, is all I can say. I have an IPhone 3GS and I am screwed every which way you look.

If I were you, I would use the plug/cable in the glovebox.

i tried a long time ago to hook up my ipod to transfer the music over, since they were purchased through itunes, they wont transfer no matter what you are trying to put them on. if it is music you downloaded off disks, then it should work. but itunes doesnt like giving the ability to transfer itune downloaded songs unless it is another apple product.

Best way to transfer is put your music on a jump drive that is the only thing you can use the usb port for.
